Two men were arrested Tuesday for an alleged shooting incident in Hopkinsville from last month.
Charged with first degree wanton endangerment are 35-year old Douglas McLaughlin of Clarksville and 27-year old Aaron Dudley of Hopkinsville. The arrest warrants say McLaughlin was visiting his girlfriend at the Oak Tree Villa apartments June 8 when he got into an argument with Dudley and a man identified as Roberto Rivas over a dog.
Dudley allegedly handed a gun to an intoxicated Rivas, who fired at least one round that struck a home on Barkridge Court.
Police say McLaughlin fired back from a balcony. No one was injured in the incident, which remains under investigation.
