It's Christian County Farm Bureau Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair on Monday this year, as Independence Day falls on the traditional Thursday.
The gates open to the fair at 4 and Farm Bureau members get in free with their pass from 4 until 6. Keith Sholar of Christian County Farm Bureau says the youth talent contest and meeting get underway at 5 in the convention center.
The Antique Tractor Pulls will begin at 7:30 in the Grandstand and J.R. Knight says there will be plenty of local participation, as always.
It's another arm band night, with unlimited rides costing $18 and the petting zoo will once again be open in the Livestock Pavilion. Attendees are also encouraged to look at the 4H contest entries in the convention center.
