Two Hopkinsville residents were served with warrants on theft and other charges last night.
Facing charges of receiving stolen property and theft by deception are 19-year old Damien Pursel and 41-year old Debra Pursel of Hopkinsville. Police say Damien Pursel pawned a rope chain valued at $500 that had been reported stolen last month on Green Lane. He only received $100 for the item.
Meanwhile, the warrant for Debra Pursel says she pawned a Nintendo DS and a game that had been reported stolen and received $60. A search warrant of her residence also allegedly turned up jewelry that had been reported stolen from the Green Lane address on May 31.
Both Pursels are in the Christian County Jail.
