A Hopkinsville man was arrested Monday night for allegedly stealing over $1,300 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.
Charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking is 44-year old Robert Tedder of the city. An arrest warrant says Tedder allegedly walked out of Wal-Mart on June 14 without paying for an air conditioning unit, car battery, beer, plants, towels and other items.
On June 18, he allegedly walked out with another air conditioner, an air compressor, a car battery and other merchandise. Total value of those items came in at a little over $1,300. Another warrant says Tedder stole $33 worth of household items from a Dollar General Store Sunday.
He was arrested Monday night on North Fowler Street and lodged in the Christian County Jail on $6,000 bond.
