The City of Hopkinsville's proposed multi-million dollar Rail to Trails project was among the many topics of interest that were discussed during tonight's city council meeting.
Council members heard from numerous residents who supported the proposed Rail to Trails Project, Jenny Moss of Irish Circle, was among those who voiced support of the project.
Council members also heard from Jason McCraw of Wilshire Circle,who was against the Rail to Trails project.
Council members also approved second reading of a budget amendment to roll over $932 thousand dollars in surplus funds from the current year budget to go towards the Rail Trail project.

Councilmembers Paul Henson and Marby Schlegel were absent from tonight’s meeting.
