The Hopkinsville woman arrested earlier this year on human trafficking charges was recently indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury.
The Leaf-Chronicle reports the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation conducted an undercover human trafficking operation and alleged that 26-year old Elizabeth Carol Cook of West 15th Street, Hopkinsville was selling a 17-year-old female as a prostitute between October of last year and March of this year.
Cook allegedly used a website for her activity and brought the family member to a Clarksville motel to engage in sexual activity for money with an undercover agent posing as a client on March 12.
The grand jury charged Cook with two counts of prostitution and two counts of human trafficking.
She remains in the Montgomery County Jail on $50,000 bond.
