The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force combined forces with Hopkinsville Police and the Christian County Sheriff's Office to arrest a man on methamphetamine charges Thursday.
A news release from the task force says they received a tip of possible meth activity at an 8725 Greenville Road residence. When two detectives visited the residence, they found 23-year old Christopher W. Aldridge of that address standing on the front porch.
Police saw two Coleman fuel cans, plastic tubing and a can of starter fluid near the home and another can of starter fluid on a four-wheeler. Aldridge gave consent to search the residence and the investigation led to his arrest on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possessoin of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The release says additional charges of child endangerment are forthcoming as one small child was found living in the home and a second child had been staying there.
