Officials with Christian County Government say the Animal Shelter will be closed for the rest of the week due to this morning’s fire.
A news release from Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says the shelter will not be accepting or adopting out animals.
Graham says the county is in the process of evaluating the facility to determine immediate and long term needs. As those needs are identified they will advise the community how and when they may help.
Once plans are in place for the normal operations to resume, the Christian County Animal Shelter will announce their hours of operation.
