Hopkinsville Police once again held their monthly public crime statistics meeting this afternoon.
During the meeting Hopkinsville Police Captain Michael Seis gave more details about this afternoon’s armed robbery that took place on Tate Street.
The report lists the victim as 20-year old Zaveral Jackson of Murray and says he was held up at gunpoint as he dropped off a friend at 1510 Tate.
Police say the victim was not injured in the incident.
Hopkinsville Police encourage the public to attend the meeting, which is held every third Thursday each month to stay informed about latest crime trends happening in their area.
Police also say the monthly meeting is a great way for residents to voice their concerns about their neighborhood face to face with an officer.
