Two people are now behind bars as part of an increased effort by Clarksville Police to apprehend impaired drivers off the roadways.
Police conducted the impaired saturation patrols from Friday, November 23rd and Saturday, November 24th.
In addition to the two DUI arrests, 18 people were also cited for speeding.
During the weekend enforcement period, 61 vehicles were stopped.
The saturation patrols are partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
