A two-vehicle wreck on South Main Street yesterday afternoon injured a local man.
The report from Hopkinsville Police says the incident happened around 3:45 at the intersection with Wooldridge Rd. Police say 81-year old Hurchel Myers of Hopkinsville was northbound on South Main when he attempted to turn left onto Wooldridge.
Myers’ vehicle struck the driver’s side door of a vehicle driven by 39-year old Tammy Schron of Hopkinsville and then continued into a utility pole. Myers was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck pain, while Ms. Schron went uninjured.
