Officials with Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area are inviting the public to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season by visiting the state park to take part in a variety of fun activities fit for the entire family.
On Saturday, November 24th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Homeplace will be celebrating Christmas in 1850 with visitors able to make simple Christmas decorations, collect favorite holiday recipes, and relax to the sound of old-time Christmas tunes.
Admission to the Homeplace is $4 ages 13 and up, $2 ages 5-12; and free for children ages 4 and under.
The Golden Pond Planetarium at LBL will also offer shows seven days a week this month, except on Thanksgiving Day, through Sunday, December 23rd.
Admission to the planetarium is $4 ages 13 and up, $2 ages 5-12 and is free for children 4 years old and under.
