A Hopkinsville man was injured in a wreck on I-24 last night after he was thrown from a pickup.
A news release from Kentucky State Police says 16-year old Logan Slaughters of Hopkinsville was attempting to merge onto I-24 from Fort Campbell Boulevard when he lost control of his pickup on the wet pavement and hit a guardrail.
The front seat passenger, 56-year old Robert Finnegan of Hopkinsville, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck. Slaughters and another passenger were wearing a seat belt and went uninjured.
Finnegan was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
