Clarksville Police have released the identity of the man killed in a shooting at a night club Saturday morning.
Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says 20-year old Malcolm Rashaad Wright of Clarksville died after being shot at C-Ray’s Social Club on Fort Campbell Boulevard just after 3am Saturday.
Officers found Wright lying on a wooden ramp outside when they arrived to a shots fired call and he would die about an hour later at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Police say he was not a Fort Campbell soldier.
Police say witnesses were not very forthcoming with information and that they were only able to immediately say a fight had been underway in the business before shots were fired and Wright was wounded.
The investigation continues and anyone with information can report it anonymously at 931-645-TIPS.
