Fort Campbell leadership understands that the loss of a child or infant is a devastating and heart breaking situation.
Fort Campbell Soldiers, Families and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital employees released butterflies last week following the 6th Annual Walk to Remember to honor parents who experienced a loss.
Over 80 community members participated in the walk, butterfly release and remembrance ceremony.
In addition to the annual walk, Fort Campbell offers The Parents Helping Parents Grieving Support Group to allow parents who have experienced child loss a chance to share and learn from one another.
The group meets the first Wednesday of every other month from 7 – 9 p.m. in Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Classroom 2.
