A complaint of loud noise coming from a Charlie Court apartment resulted in a drug trafficking arrest early yesterday morning.
Hopkinsville Police responded to 102 Charlie Court just before 2am and talked to 25-year old Michael Brandon Clark of Hopkinsville. Through the investigation, officers allegedly found several individually bagged packages of marijuana and a large sum of cash in Clark’s possession.
In addition to the trafficking in marijuana charge, Clark was also served with a warrant for escape and failure to pay child support. The warrant says Clark had been furloughed from the Christian County Jail on September 13th. He was to return by 9am on the 24th or pay 194 dollars.
Police say he did neither and has accumulated over 4-thousand dollars in back child support.
