Police in Montgomery County continue to investigate a double-murder at a Halloween party early Saturday morning.
The Tennessean reports on its website that the initial call of a shooting in progress came in around 1:50. The incident happened a cabin near the dead end of High Point Road, where police would find two adult males deceased.
As many as 500 people were at the party near the Cumberland River just west of Clarksville and hundreds were still there when the shooting occurred. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol all responded to the scene, with the names of the victims yet to be released.
