Three people were hospitalized following two wrecks in Calloway County last night.
The first accident happened just before 7 on U.S. 641, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police, which says 89-year old William Miller of Murray was attempting to turn left onto Flint Road and drove into the path of 31-year old Jeremy Grimes of Paducah.
Grimes was unable to stop, striking Miller’s vehicle and causing it to flip onto its top. Miller was taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital, where he was treated for multiple injuries.
The later crash happened on Kentucky 94 around 10:30 when 29-year old Daniel Howard of Powderly swerved to miss a deer and ran off the road. His vehicle hit a tree, sending Howard and passenger 27-year old Jordan Randolph of Central City to Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
