Hopkinsville Police arrested a city man yesterday accused of assaulting his daughter.
Arrested and charged with second degree assault and fourth degree assault was 34-year old Pedro Mulero, Jr. of Hopkinsville. Officer Raymond Davis writes that Mulero threw his daughter to the ground on September 30th and began hitting her on the face and head.
Mulero allegedly used his body weight to restrain the girl and pulled her hair. The victim reportedly had a black eye and bruising on other parts of her body. The girl sought medical treatment and was diagnosed with a concussion. Mulero’s wife was also injured in the attack.
Mulero was lodged in the Christian County Jail on 10-thousand dollars bond.
