Pennyrile Rural Electric will have to turn the power off to about 15-hundred customers in Trigg County next week.
A news release from Pennyrile says the outage will last approximately four hours and will begin just after midnight October 7th.
Areas affected include Hamtown, Old Dover Road, Cunningham Avenue, South Road to West Maggie Road, Oakland Church Road and several other areas for a total impact of 1,517 customers.
Pennyrile says the outage is necessary to transfer the load serving South Road and Hamtown to the new feeders which have recently been constructed. The outage will be rescheduled if there’s bad weather.
