Two people were killed in a single-vehicle wreck involving a tractor-trailer in Trigg County last night.
A news release from Kentucky State Police says the semi was westbound near the 61-mile-marker around 10:15 when it ran off the road for an unknown reason and struck several trees before finally coming to rest.
Both occupants of the truck—34-year old Joseph Robinson and 55-year old Larry Artis of North Carolina—were ejected and police do not know who had been driving at the time of the wreck. The two men were pronounced dead on the scene by the Trigg County Coroner’s office.
Police do not know if either occupant was wearing a seat belt.
