A recent wreck on Dawson Springs Road sent two people to the hospital and resulted in DUI charges.
The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Lynn Moe says 28-year old Brandon McKellips of Clarksville was eastbound on Pennyrile Forest State Park Road when he drove through the triangle median at the entrance to the park and hit a northbound vehicle on Dawson Springs Road.
That vehicle was driven by 31-year old Elesha Robinson of Dawson Springs. McKelleps was arrested and charged with DUI, while his passenger—29-year old Renaldo Marable of Clarksville was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Ms. Robinson’s five year old passenger was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart, but she went uninjured.
