Preliminary statistics released by Kentucky State Police indicate that seven people died in seven separate wrecks on state roadways from Monday, September 10th through Sunday.
State Police say five of the victims were traveling in passenger vehicles and three were not wearing seat belts.
Single fatality crashes occurred in Jefferson, Larue, Mason, Perry and Warren Counties.
Police say a fatality was the result of a motorcycle wreck in Todd County and a pedestrian was killed in Henderson County.
Through Sunday, preliminary statistics indicate that 508 people have died on Kentucky roadways this year, which is one less than what was reported for the same time period last year.
