A local man accused of hitting a woman on the head with a brick last month was arrested on assault and wanton endangerment charges yesterday afternoon.
At least two people were injured in a fight at the intersection of East First and Sycamore Street August 23rd, which spilled over to a shots fired incident at a nearby home and another disturbance at the hospital that night.
Arrested yesterday afternoon around 4:30 at a Fort Campbell Boulevard business was 27-year old Kevin White of Hopkinsville, who is charged with second degree assault. The warrant for White says he struck a female in the head with a brick, causing her to need ten stitches to close a wound.
Police also charged White with first degree wanton endangerment for allegedly being the man who fired a gun at a home where children were sitting on the front porch and more people inside.
White was lodged in the Christian County Jail on 35-thousand dollars bond.
