Congressman Ed Whitfield says he is disappointed that a newly released report on the August jobs numbers is dismal.
Congressman Whitfield says even though there was a minor decease in unemployment across the U.S. he says the recent report is just another example of President Barack Obama’s failed economic policies.
Congressman Whitfield also says it’s unacceptable that the unemployment rate has remained at or over 8 percent for 43 straight months.
Congressman Whitfield added that he felt it was time for Americans to take a stand and take action and that it was time rein in the over-regulation being imposed by the EPA and for President Obama to approve the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, which would transport synthetic crude oil from Canada to multiple locations in the U.S.
First introduced in 2008, President Obama postponed the final decision concerning the proposed extension until 2013.
