(Raymond Romero) (John Abraham) (Dakota Ebel)
Clarksville Police say a man’s quick thinking landed three robbery suspects behind bars early this morning.
Police say around 12:30 am, two 18 year old men went to 7-63 Needmore Road to visit a friend and when they got out of the vehicle, they were approached by three men, now identified as 21-year old Raymond Romero, 18-year old John Abraham and 18-year old Dakota Ebel, who then forced the two 18-year old men to go to the Needmore Road residence to determine if their friend was home.
The individual the suspects were looking for was not at the residence, but his father answered the door and that’s when police say Romero, Abraham and Ebel entered the home and held a knife to the father’s head and told him to call his son.
Police say instead of calling his son, the father dialed 9-11 and acted as though he was explaining the situation to his son while one of the robbers searched through the house for valuables.
At some point, police say the suspects realized he called 9-11 and fled the home in a red hatchback vehicle.
A short time later, officers located suspects in the Needmore Road area and during questioning all three suspects admitted to their involvement in the robbery.
The three suspects were all charged with aggravated robbery and were booked into the Montgomery County Jail with each of their bond’s set at $50,000.
