Clarksville Police have made five arrests in three separate incidents after investigating a home invasion Wednesday.
The investigation began around 2am when Gregory Elliott, Willie Collins, Timothy Ogburn and Lawrence Gillen of Clarksville allegedly confronted a couple outside of their home on Nottingham Drive with a gun.
The man was struck in the head with a handgun, while the woman fled into the home and locked herself in a bedroom. Another man in the home was able to wrestle the gun away from the suspect, with all four leaving the home in a getaway vehicle.
Clarksville Police soon found the car with the occupants on Tiny Town Road and took them in for questioning. Through the investigation, they were also able to tie Gillen and a man identified as Devain Peterson of Clarksville to other recent robberies in the city.
All five men were lodged in the Montgomery County Jail.
