A single-vehicle wreck on Dawson Springs Road Sunday night may have resulted from the use of alcohol.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office report says 45-year old Michael Sandifer of Dawson Road was south when he said a deer ran out in front of him. Sandifer said he ran off the left side of the road and hit an embankment, causing his truck to flip onto its top.
Police smelled an odor of alcohol and Sandifer reportedly failed field sobriety tests. He was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and cited into court on DUI charges.
