Clarksville Police say a Florida man living in the city for work was recently busted for growing marijuana behind a residence.
Police say thanks to an anonymous tip on Wednesday, members of the department’s special operations unit and tactical team were able to serve a search warrant at 3020 Nicole Road.
Police say as a result of the search, four marijuana plants were found growing outside behind the residence and crack and other drug paraphernalia were discovered inside the house.
The marijuana plants are believed to have a street value of over $3,000 and as a result of the search and seizure Edward Charles Boyett of Cantona, Florida was charged with manufacturing marijuana for sell or delivery, simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Boyett was booked into the Montgomery County jail on a $2,000 bond.
