A Hopkinsville Middle School student was only at school for about two hours on the year’s first day before he was cited into juvenile court for allegedly kicking a fellow student and attempting to punch the principal.
The citation from Hopkinsville Police School Resource Officer Frankie Pollard says the 15-year old white male threw a rubiks cube at a female student and hit her in the leg, before running to another girl and kicking her in the leg as hard as he could.
Officer Pollard writes the boy then began yelling racial slurs, calling teachers the “N word” and saying he wouldn’t listen to anyone. As police walked him by the principal, he allegedly tried to strike her with both fists, though Officer Pollard was able to restrain him before he made contact.
Officer Pollard writes he fears someone at the school will be severely injured if the boy is allowed to continue to attend and says he heard of the student’s reputation last school year.
