A two-vehicle wreck in Cadiz yesterday injured a Hopkinsville woman.
A news release from Cadiz Police says 22-year old Rachel Sproles of Hopkinsville was westbound on U.S. 68 around 3:40pm approaching the Main Street intersection.
Police say that’s when a truck driven by 50-year old Norman Reed of Bethesda School Road, Cadiz pulled from Main Street into her path. Reed reportedly told police he thought Ms. Sproles was in the turn late to go right on Main, though Ms. Sproles said she never showed any intention of turning.
Ms. Sproles was taken to Trigg County Hospital with multiple injuries, some of which were the result of the airbag deployment. Reed refused treatment at the scene, despite complaining of a minor arm injury.
