The Christian County Grand Jury today indicted 7 people including a Fort Campbell soldier accused of shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Wal-mart over the past couple of months.
28-year old Christian McCray of Houston, Texas is charged with 6 counts of theft by unlawful taking over $500 and 8 counts of theft by unlawful taking under $500.
Court documents indicate that McCray stole merchandise from the Oak Grove Wal-mart on six separate occasions from April 27th to May 17th.
Oak Grove Police reported that on six separate occasions, McCray would enter the store, make a purchase using a credit card, exit the store and then re-enter the same store by going to a different entrance, select the identical item and exit the store without paying for it.
Police say McCray’s actions were caught on surveillance video.
