Two traffic accidents inside the city limits late yesterday morning sent all three drivers to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Injured in an incident in front of Garland Nissan on Fort Campbell Boulevard about 10 minutes to 11 were 62-year old Paulett Johnson and 87-year old Charles Jackson, both of Hopkinsville, who were both wearing their seat belts, according to the report from city police Officer Chris Bond.
Bond’s report says Ms. Johnson was southbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard and failed to notice that Jackson was exiting the car lot.
Jackson said he saw Ms. Johnson’s car, but thought she was going to stop.
The other wreck involved only one vehicle, with 51-year old Bradford Brashears of Cerulean injured when he ''blacked out'' while traveling eastbound in a Southern States flatbed truck off East 9th street near the justice center.
That crash, which saw Brashears leave the road and strike two utility poles, occurred just after 11:30 yesterday morning, with Brashears buckled in, according to the report, also completed by Officer Bond.
