A motorcycle wreck in Hopkins County Sunday afternoon sent the driver to an Evansville hospital.
A news release from Kentucky State Police says 40-year old John Hardin of Slaughters was northbound on his motorcycle on Stagecoach Road around 2:30 when the rear tire lost traction. The bike ran off the shoulder of the road and overturned, ejecting Hardin.
Hardin was flown by helicopter to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville for treatment of his injuries. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
