Hopkinsville Police have arrested a second suspect accused of making up a sexual assault story at Wal-Mart earlier this month.
Charged with falsely reporting an incident is 30-year old Becky Ballard of Hopkinsville. Police say Ballard and a friend, 29-year old Kristy Bohling, told officers on July 14th that a male physically restrained them against a shelf and touched them in a sexual manner while breathing down their necks.
Wal-Mart surveillance footage reportedly showed the incident never happened and now both women have been arrested. The warrant says Ballard told police she lied at the request of her friend. Ballard was released on bond Wednesday evening, shortly after her arrest.
