A Hopkinsville man was arrested on burglary charges late yesterday morning and alcohol is suspected as a factor in the incident.
The arrest card says 33-year old Kenneth Wade Tolliver entered a residence that was not his and was confronted by the home owner inside. The paper does not give the address of the break-in, but says the resident forced the perpetrator back outside, where he allegedly started throwing sticks at the home.
A neighbor was able to use a cell phone to film Tolliver’s alleged actions outside. Officer Daniel Baldino found Tolliver allegedly urinating in front of 119 South Vine Street a short time later and arrested him on burglary, indecent exposure and being drunk in public charges.
Officer Baldino writes the victim was able to positively identify Tolliver as the man who forced his way into the home.
