Gloria Ross and Candida Belt Duncan
Kentucky State Police say more arrests are possible in the 1994 double-murder at the New Life Massage Parlor in Oak Grove.
As reported last week on WHOP News, KSP arrested 49-year old Leslie Duncan of Central City on tampering with evidence charges, with Duncan a former Oak Grove Police Officer.
Post 2 Public Information Officer Trooper Stu Recke says Duncan’s arrest was a first step in the process of potentially solving the cold case.
As far as how Duncan tampered with evidence, Trooper Recke couldn’t go into a lot of detail but did say he responded to the scene that September day.
Trooper Recke says more arrests could be forthcoming.
On September 20th, 1994, the bodies of 22-year old Candida Belt and 18-year old Gloria Ross were discovered at the New Life Massage Parlor in Oak Grove, which also served as a brothel. The two victims had been shot and stabbed several times.
