Officials with Christian County Public Schools released information today concerning back to school registration for the upcoming school year.
Any student entering Christian County Public Schools for the first time, as well as students entering the 6th grade will need to have school physical and up-to-date immunization record completed on a Kentucky form.
In an effort to make things easy for local parents, the Christian County Health Department has scheduled an opportunity for parents and caregivers to make an appointment and receive these services on Tuesday, July 31st.

In addition, to enroll a child in kindergarten, state law mandates that the student must be five years old by October 1st.
Required documents to register a child in kindergarten includes an official birth certificate, an up-to-date Kentucky immunization certificate, a second MMR, complete Hepatitis B series, a chicken pox vaccination, a physical examination completed on a Kentucky form, an eye examination by an eye doctor, a dental screening and a copy of a social security card.
The first day of school in Christian County is August 15th and for a copy of the 2012-13 school calendar and school supplies list, parents are urged to go to www.christian.kyschools.us.
