A ribbon cutting was held in Guthrie this afternoon for what will be the town’s only doctor’s office.
Jennie Stuart Medical Center and its sister corporation Fairview Physicians will open up Guthrie MD Monday morning with Doctor Bobby Green as the practicing physician.
Doctor Green, who lives in nearby Robertson County, Tennessee, said he just felt Guthrie was the right place and that now was the right time for him.
JSMC President and CEO Eric Lee said Todd County was already a major part of the hospital’s customer base and the new office just solidifies that relationship.
Guthrie Mayor Scott Marshall thanked everyone in the packed building on U.S. 41 just inside the city limits for attending and asked them to patronize the office once it opens. Doctor Green says he has some appointments scheduled for next week but that he has openings and that patients can fill out their paperwork online.
