A two vehicle wreck at Fort Campbell Boulevard and Country Club Lane Friday morning injured two local women.
The Hopkinsville Police report says 47-year old Jacqueline Boyd of the city was southbound on the Boulevard proceeding through the intersection when she was hit by the vehicle of 73-year old Kelly Sholar of Cadiz, who was attempting to turn left onto Country Club.
Officer Eugene Trumble writes that Ms. Boyd said she had a green light and that Scholar said he had a green arrow, but that police observed the signals to be functioning properly.
There were no witnesses of the incident on the scene, so it was impossible to know for sure what exactly had happened. Ms. Boyd and passenger 49-year old Beverly Pettus of Hopkinsville were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
