A medical condition led to a wreck with injury on Central Avenue Saturday afternoon.
The report from Hopkinsville Police says 48-year old Debra Alexander of Hopkinsville blacked out while driving on Central due to being a diabetic around 12:30 and that she ran into a parked vehicle on the side of the roadway.
She hit the parked vehicle going between 25 and 30 miles per hour and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report. Police say she was wearing her seat belt.
The unoccupied parked vehicle belonged to 34-year old Amyia Polite of Hopkinsville. Police say her SUV sustained moderate damage.
