Clarksville Police made an arrest Friday after a woman allegedly made up a story about being held hostage.
A news release says a 911 call came in around 10:50 Friday morning that 22-year old Sheila Faye Sied of Power Street was being held hostage at Lincoln Homes in Clarksville.
Sied reportedly told dispatchers the story of being tied up for two weeks in addition to telling family members. Her sister had reported her missing as of June 2nd. Through investigations, police found Sied at a trailer on Power Street and say they needed a calculator to count up the number of times she changed her story.
Ultimately, Sied told officers she had gone to Lincoln Homes to purchase cocaine and was never held hostage. Police arrested and charged her with filing a false report. Officers across the city had to be reassigned districts and emergency responders were on standby after her initial calls.
