Two people were hospitalized after a wreck in the city limits of Hopkinsville this morning.
The report from Hopkinsville Police says 40-year old Tanya Forrest of Lexington ran the stop sign on Phelps Avenue at the West 15th Street intersection, causing 67-year old John Cook of Hopkinsville to run into the right front portion of her vehicle.
Cook said he didn’t see Ms. Forrest’s car in the intersection in time to stop. Cook and his passenger—69-year old Margie Cook of Hopkinsville—were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Ms. Forrest went uninjured in the incident. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
