A Hopkinsville man sustained cuts from a pocket knife in an altercation reportedly over drugs yesterday afternoon.
The victim, listed on the report as 58-year old Anthony Meadows of Hopkinsville, told police he had purchased crack cocaine for a friend Tuesday. The friend came back and wanted more yesterday around 2pm, but Meadows told him he didn’t have any.
That’s when the alleged perpetrator became angry and assaulted Meadows with hit fist, eventually pulling a pocket knife and stabbing him in the arm. The suspect then fled the scene.
The investigation continues and a suspect is listed on the report.
