One of five suspects accused of committing an armed burglary and robbery last Thursday night is now behind bars.
Hopkinsville Police say Fugitive of the Week, 27-year old Mory Cortez Burse turned himself into the custody of authorities this morning and was arrested without incident.
Burse and 4 other suspects who wore masks during the incident are all accused of breaking and entering a 513 Linda Drive residence while being armed with assault rifles and handguns.
Police say one of the victims, Richard Manning, was bound with duct tape and a plastic bag was placed over his head and another male victim, Martez Washington was repeatedly kicked in the head and body by Burse as he demanded money.
Washington’s wallet containing an undisclosed amount of money and Manning’s keys were stolen and at the time of the incident, three females and a female juvenile were also located inside the residence.
Burse was booked into the Christian County Jail and is charged with 1st degree burglary and two counts of 1st degree robbery.
