Two vehicle crashes investigated yesterday by city and county officers sent two of the three drivers involved to the hospital, though a motorcycle operator was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and an SUV driver escaped injury.
Treated at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a crash on Russellville Road at the bypass at 8:15 yesterday morning was 36-year old Arthur Tilley of 206 South Fowler Avenue.
That's according to the report filed by Sheriff's Captain Mike Johnson, who says Tilley’s motorcycle collided with the SUV operated by 58-year old Linda Wease of 700 Pembroke Road, who was attempting to make a left turn onto the by-pass and did not see the bike.
The other crash yesterday involving injury was investigated by city police officer Eugene Trumble on Fort Campbell Boulevard between Country Club Lane and Laurel Cove Drive.
Taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center was 39-year old Sherry L Morris of Hopkinsville.
The report says Ms. Morris was northbound when a vehicle exited the Goodwill building parking lot and the collision occurred.
The second vehicle was operated by 69-year old Mary O. Brown of Hopkinsville, who was not injured.
