The name of the first candidate to succeed Brady Link as superintendent of the Christian County Public School System will be released Thursday morning when the first in a series of meetings is held with school officials and the public.
The candidate will meet first with Chamber of Commerce and other business officials at a 7 o'clock breakfast at the Chamber of Commerce office on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
That’s when his or her identity will be released, with that meeting to be followed by hour-long sessions with the central office staff, middle and high school principals, elementary school principals, and certified and classified employees.
Those meetings will be followed by a ''public forum” from 4 until 6 in the Christian County High School cafeteria.
An hour-long ''break'' will be followed by dinner with the Board of Education and an interview.
No specific time frame is set aside for the news media to meet with the candidate.
