The family of a young man recently seriously injured in a wreck in Christian County has set up a fund to help with his recovery.
19-year old Erik Harris had to be cut from the wreckage May 26th after he ran off Dawson Springs Road and drove down a steep embankment.
Harris remains in Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is recovering from several injuries—including the loss of his teeth. His grandmother, Gail McKinney, has set up the Erik Harris Benefit Fund at Planters Bank and donation canisters have also been placed at several local businesses in Christian County including Baldwin’s Appliance, Jade Palace and the Crofton Diner.
Family members say the raised money will go toward purchasing Harris a set of veneers.
