One of the kittens looking for a home at local shelter
The Christian County Animal Shelter is busting at the seems with cats and kittens and officials are asking for the public’s help.
Director Irene Grace says she has reduced adoption fees for the felines after an influx of cats over the last couple weeks.
If you can’t commit to adopting a cat or kitten, Ms. Grace says you can still help a great deal by just fostering until the shelter’s population is reduced to a more reasonable number.
One can look at photos of some of the cats and kittens up for adoption by going to the shelter’s Facebook page. For more information, call the shelter at 887-4175.
