An elderly Hopkinsville man was arrested on his second DUI charge in the last five years after he allegedly caused a wreck that injured a man Wednesday evening.
Kentucky State Police investigated the two-vehicle wreck at the North Main Street-Hilltop Drive intersection around 7pm.
A news release says 82-year old Paul Drury of Hopkinsville turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by 56-year old James Torian of Hopkinsville and the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Torian was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, while Drury was arrested and charged with DUI, driving with an open alcohol container in his vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
Police say both men were wearing their seat belt.
